Lake Michigan Incidents Raise Safety Questions
This tragic death follows other recent incidents on Lake Michigan, including ongoing search efforts at 63rd Street Beach, where authorities are looking for another person missing in the water.
City officials have reminded residents and visitors to remain cautious around waterfront areas—especially with hot weather drawing more people to the lakefront.
