The National Weather Service has warned of spotty storms and heavy rain developing late Friday into early Saturday, primarily affecting South Central Texas. Rain totals will vary but may reach up to half an inch in some locations.
High Heat and Humidity Through the Weekend
On Saturday, San Antonio residents can expect storms to taper off during the morning, followed by rising temperatures. The daytime high will reach 97°F, while elevated humidity levels will push the feels-like temperature to around 106°F.
Southerly winds between 10–15 mph, gusting up to 20 mph, will accompany the heat, compounding the discomfort for those outdoors.
Triple-Digit Highs Return Sunday Through Tuesday
By Sunday, the weather shifts to mostly sunny skies, with a forecast high of 100°F and overnight lows near 78°F. These conditions are expected to persist into early next week, as Monday and Tuesday bring similar heat levels, with afternoon highs remaining around 100°F.
While Monday will stay mostly dry, storm chances return Tuesday afternoon, with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms developing across the area.
On Wednesday, slightly cooler conditions are expected, but highs will still hover near 99°F, with a minimal chance of precipitation in the evening.
