Pontiac, IL – Two Men Found Dead From Apparent Gunshot Wounds
Authorities in Pontiac are investigating the deaths of two men who were found inside a residence Saturday afternoon. According to a press release from the Pontiac Police Department, officers responded to a call at approximately 3:21 p.m. at a home in the 600 block of South Oak Street.
Upon arrival, police discovered the bodies of a 59-year-old man and a 25-year-old man. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by officials from the Livingston County Coroner’s Office.
Victims’ Identities Withheld Pending Investigation
At this time, the identities of the victims have not been released. Police have stated that the incident appears to be isolated to the residence, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
