Eugene Weather Forecast: Rain Clears Out Saturday Morning, Sunshine Returns Through Midweek
EUGENE, OREGON – A stretch of wet weather will wrap up early Saturday morning across western Oregon, giving way to clearer skies and rising temperatures through midweek in the Eugene-Springfield area.
Light rain overnight, clearing by midday Saturday
Rainfall overnight Friday into early Saturday will be minimal — less than a tenth of an inch is expected — but drivers should still plan for damp roads and reduced visibility during the early morning hours. The National Weather Service in Portland reports that the showers will mostly end before 8 a.m., with clouds beginning to break around midday.
Warmer and sunnier pattern through Tuesday
After Saturday morning’s brief wet start, skies will gradually clear with daytime highs approaching 79°F by the afternoon. Sunday will bring partly sunny skies and slightly warmer conditions near 80°F, making for ideal weekend plans across the Eugene metro area.
By Monday and Tuesday, highs in the low-to-mid 80s will dominate, with sunshine continuing and very little wind in the forecast. Breezes may pick up slightly late Sunday in the valley, but otherwise, calm weather is expected to settle in.

With warm, dry conditions forecast through Wednesday, it’s a good time for outdoor recreation, backyard barbecues, or simply enjoying a late-summer break from the rain.
