GLENVIEW, Ill. — A 36-year-old Chicago man is facing serious charges after being arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a child at a chiropractic clinic in Glenview last month, police confirmed Thursday.
Arrest Made Following Police Investigation
Victor Reynolds, a Chicago resident, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to a release from the Glenview Police Department. The incident reportedly occurred at ChiroMend Natural Health Center, located at 1834 Glenview Road.
Police launched the investigation on May 5, after receiving a report that a minor had been sexually assaulted inside the facility. Authorities clarified that Reynolds and the child are not related.
Authorities Collaborate On Case
The investigation was carried out by Glenview detectives, working in partnership with the Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Their coordinated efforts led to Reynolds’ arrest.
Upcoming Court Appearance
Reynolds is set to appear in court on July 3 at the Skokie Courthouse. No further details about the victim’s identity or condition have been released due to the sensitive nature of the case.
