Culver’s Expands In Illinois With New Locations In Bradley, Diamond, And Rantoul

ILLINOIS — Wisconsin-based fast food chain Culver’s, known for its butter burgers, cheese curds, and frozen custard, is expanding again — with three new restaurants planned across Illinois in 2025.

The brand recently announced its expansion into 12 states, and Illinois is one of the featured destinations with new locations planned in:

  • Bradley

  • Diamond

  • Rantoul

The news comes after a Culver’s opened earlier this year in Mahomet, Illinois, located at 2006 Patton Drive, according to a company spokesperson.

Part of a Larger Nationwide Expansion

Culver’s has a history of aggressive but strategic growth, typically opening 50 to 60 new locations each year. This year’s plan continues that trend with dozens of new stores across the U.S., including in:

  • Florida (Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Leesburg, etc.)

  • Texas (Katy)

  • Tennessee (Hixson, Oak Ridge, Sevierville)

  • Wisconsin (Eau Claire, Evansville)

  • And many more

For Illinois fans, the addition of Bradley, Diamond, and Rantoul will help fill regional gaps and make the brand more accessible to downstate and suburban communities.

Customers can always locate their nearest Culver’s using the chain’s store locator.

What To Expect From The New Locations

Each new Culver’s location typically includes:

  • Full dine-in and drive-thru service

  • Menu staples like the ButterBurger, Wisconsin Cheese Curds, and Fresh Frozen Custard

  • Friendly local hiring and training

Though opening dates for the new Bradley, Diamond, and Rantoul locations haven’t been officially announced, groundbreaking is expected later this summer.
