CHICAGO — A string of four robberies within 30 minutes rattled Lakeview and Lincoln Park late Monday night, prompting a search for multiple suspects possibly linked to a white SUV spotted at the scene of at least two incidents, according to CBS Chicago.
Police say the back-to-back robberies happened between 11:30 p.m. and 12:05 a.m., with all victims targeted while walking alone on the street. Three of the four cases involved armed suspects, and each victim was robbed of personal belongings before the attackers fled.

Authorities provided the following sequence of events:

11:30 p.m. – Broadway & Roscoe Street, Lakeview
A 47-year-old woman was walking when two men approached and robbed her. No weapons were mentioned, and the men fled on foot. -
11:45 p.m. – Diversey Parkway & Pine Grove Avenue, Lincoln Park
A 23-year-old woman was held up by two men, one displaying a gun. The suspects took her belongings and fled in a white SUV. -
11:51 p.m. – Roscoe & Halsted Street, Lakeview
A 21-year-old woman was robbed by two men, also believed to be fleeing in a vehicle. Police did not confirm if a weapon was used. -
12:05 a.m. – Belden & Sheffield Avenue, Lincoln Park
A 20-year-old man was approached by two armed men who exited a white SUV. He was robbed at gunpoint before the suspects drove off.
Despite the close timing and proximity of these incidents, Chicago police have not yet confirmed whether the robberies are connected. No injuries were reported in any of the cases.
Police Investigation Ongoing
As of Tuesday morning, no arrests had been made, and detectives are continuing to investigate possible links between the attacks. Surveillance footage from the neighborhoods is being reviewed to identify the suspects and the vehicle.
Chicago police are urging residents in Lakeview and Lincoln Park to remain alert, especially during late-night hours, and to report any suspicious activity.
