CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE – After a stormy Sunday brought strong winds, hail, and heavy downpours across parts of New Hampshire, the new week is off to a clear and refreshing start, with sunny skies and low humidity forecast through Tuesday.
The severe thunderstorm warnings issued Sunday evening by the National Weather Service expired after 7 p.m., with storms quickly clearing out and cooler, drier air taking hold overnight.
Temperatures dipped into the 50s Sunday night across much of the state, creating a comfortable transition into the workweek.
Monday Outlook: Sunny, Breezy, and Comfortable
New Hampshire residents can expect a beautiful Monday, with highs in the 70s and a northwest breeze helping to usher in even drier air.
According to WMUR, wind gusts could reach 20 to 30 mph during the day, contributing to the crisp, cool feel. Winds are expected to die down at night, with overnight lows dropping into the 40s and low 50s.
Tuesday Brings More Sunshine Before Heat Returns
Tuesday continues the stretch of sun-filled, low-humidity weather, with daytime highs once again in the 70s. But the brief cooldown won’t last long — forecasters expect heat and humidity to build again by midweek.
By Thursday and Friday, temperatures could climb back near 90 degrees, especially in southern and central parts of the state.
