CHICAGO — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 69-year-old Fredric Coney, who was last seen over three months ago in South Side neighborhoods, according to a public alert from the Chicago Police Department.

Missing Since March 15

Fredric Coney was last seen on March 15 near 7200 S. Western Avenue, an area he is known to frequent. He also has connections to the 5000 block of S. Drexel Boulevard, another location noted by police in their search efforts.

Family members told investigators that Coney’s prolonged absence is out of character, raising additional concern for his safety. He has not made any contact since that date.
